About
MZP Machining is the trading name of Dongguan Mingzhi Precision Components Co., Ltd. (东莞市明制精密零部件有限公司), a subcontract precision machining company in Fenggang, Dongguan, Guangdong. The company has been machining parts since 1998.
We describe ourselves as a general shop because that is what we are: turning, milling, gear cutting, cylindrical and internal grinding, wire and sinker EDM, mould making and injection moulding, all under one roof.
That breadth is not a marketing position, it is the operating reality. Most precision components need more than one process, and every handover between companies costs datums, queue time and accountability. Keeping nine processes in one building means a part that would normally travel between three suppliers stays on one datum chain, under one purchase order, with one person responsible when something goes wrong.
We work from drawings. We do not claim to hold tolerances we cannot repeat, and we do not publish certifications we do not hold.

Why this page has no customer counts. We deliberately do not publish claims like “thousands of customers” or “parts delivered per year”. You cannot verify them, and they are the first thing an experienced buyer discounts. Dongguan sits between Shenzhen and Guangzhou, which is why material, tooling and finishing supply chains are all within a short drive.
The usual worry is communication, not capability. We address it directly: English-speaking engineers, drawings and queries handled by the same person who quoted the job, and a reply commitment of one working day.
People
Each year, 3% of the company's profit goes to children in poorer parts of China.
Every year the whole staff goes on a trip together. Every month we break for a meal to mark that month's birthdays.
Neither is about machining. They are here because a shop that keeps its people is a shop that keeps its delivery dates.
