What we do with the information you send us — and what we do not do with it.
This policy covers mzpmachining.com. It sets out what we collect when you send an enquiry, why we need it, who else handles it, and how to have it removed.
Who we are
MZP Machining is the trading name of Dongguan Mingzhi Precision Components Co., Ltd., a subcontract precision machining company working from Dushi Yunchuanggu, Keji Road, Fenggang Town, Dongguan, Guangdong, China.

What we collect
Name, company, email address, telephone number and country.
The process, material, quantity, surface finish and required date you select, any NDA requirement, and the notes you write.
Typically drawings in PDF, STEP, IGES, DXF or DWG format.
The time you submitted the form, and the IP address it came from. We record these to filter automated spam.
We do not ask for payment card details, and we do not knowingly collect any special-category data.
Why we use it
To read what you have sent, work out a price, and keep a record of what was quoted. That is the only purpose.
We do not sell your information. We do not rent it. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not use it to advertise to you.
Cookies
Nothing the site itself stores in your browser. The language menu is plain HTML; choosing a language simply follows a link. Nothing about your visit is remembered by us after you close the tab.
The one exception is Google Analytics, described next.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It sets two first-party cookies on our domain, _ga and _ga_*, to tell one visit from another, and records your IP address in shortened form.
Visit-level data is kept for 14 months. You can block these cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The site works normally either way.
Who else handles it
The company that hosts this website, the email service that delivers enquiry notifications to us, and Google, which counts visits as described above. The hosting and email providers handle enquiry data only to carry out that task, on our instructions. Google handles visit statistics only, under its own terms.
We do not sell, rent or trade your information. We disclose it to anyone else only where the law requires it.
Retention and security
Enquiries and the files attached to them are kept for 24 months from the date of your last contact with us, then deleted. Where an enquiry becomes an order, the related records are kept for as long as tax and contract law requires.
This site runs over HTTPS. Enquiry data is reachable only by the staff who answer enquiries.
Your rights
You may ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to our using it. Write to klauswen@mzpmachining.com and we will answer within 30 days.
If you are in the EU or the UK, you also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
Where your data is held
This website and the enquiry records it produces are stored on a server in the United States. If you contact us from somewhere else, your information is transferred there for the purposes set out above.
Two last points
This site exists for business use and is not directed at anyone under 16.
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date below.
