Downhole tool components: subs, housings, connectors, valve and seal parts — machined in the difficult materials this industry specifies.
Downhole tooling is unforgiving work. Parts are long and slim, materials are often difficult or already hardened, sealing surfaces have to be genuinely round, and every batch needs paperwork behind it.
We machine MWD/LWD and directional drilling components for manufacturers in this sector, including subs and connectors, sensor and electronics housings, valve and piston parts, and wear components. Because we hold turning, milling, gear cutting, grinding and EDM under one roof, a long slim part that needs a ground seal diameter does not have to travel between three suppliers.
What this industry actually checks is traceability and repeatability. Both are covered by first-article inspection, material certificates and dimensional reports issued from the same building the parts were made in.

Typical parts
What matters here
Distortion control from raw bar through turning and grinding.
EDM and grinding after heat treatment, not instead of it.
Bores and diameters ground for roundness, not just sized.
FAI, material certificates and dimensional reports with the shipment.
Capabilities applied
Turning, mill-turn and small-to-medium batch production of round parts.
3-, 4- and 5-axis milling of complex parts, pockets, contours and fixtures.
Spur, helical and internal gears cut on hobbing and shaping machines.
External cylindrical grinding for roundness, straightness and surface finish.
Internal grinding of bores, sleeves and bearing seats.
Wire EDM for sharp internal corners, hardened material and thin walls.
