Machine departments, quantities and the envelope limits that decide whether we can make your part.
Equipment
A shop that will not say anything about its machines usually has something to hide. Here is what we run and what each department is for. Model numbers and travel limits are sent with your quotation, because that is the version that matches your part.
| Department | Equipment we run | What it is used for |
|---|---|---|
| CNC turning | CNC lathes and mill-turn machines | Shafts, sleeves, connectors and threaded parts, including milled features done in the same setup. |
| CNC milling | 3-axis and 4-axis vertical machining centres | Housings, plates, brackets, pockets and fixtures — tooling designed and machined in-house. |
| 5-axis / mill-turn | 5-axis machining centre | Multi-face parts machined in fewer setups, so position between faces survives the sequence. |
| Gear cutting | CNC gear hobbing and gear shaping machines | Spur and helical gears, internal gears, splines and worm wheels; blanks turned in the same shop. |
| OD grinding | Universal cylindrical grinding machines | Bearing journals, stepped shafts and hardened diameters — normally after heat treatment. |
| ID grinding | Internal grinding spindles | Bearing seats, sleeves, hydraulic bores and hardened bores that have to be round, not just on size. |
| Wire EDM | Wire-cut EDM machines | Sharp internal corners, narrow slots, thin walls and already-hardened material. |
| Sinker EDM | Die-sinking EDM machines | Cavities, deep ribs and hardened tool steel, with electrodes machined in-house. |
| Mould making | Milling, grinding, EDM and fitting | Production and prototype injection moulds, inserts, sliders and tool repair. |
| Injection moulding | Injection moulding presses | Production and bridge-tooling runs in engineering plastics, moulded on tools we built. |
Why the machine numbers are not on this page. Counts and travel limits change whenever a machine is added, replaced or rebuilt. Ask, and you get the current list — model, quantity and maximum envelope — with your quotation, before you commit to anything.
Finding capacity
Maximum diameter and length for turning, maximum envelope for milling, maximum bore for internal grinding. If a part exceeds our envelope we will say so immediately rather than trying to outsource it quietly.
What we can hold repeatably across a run, per process. We quote this against your specific part rather than publishing a blanket table — the reasoning is on the materials and tolerances page.
Whether the part is machined before or after heat treatment decides the route: hardened features are finished by grinding or EDM, not by turning.
Small to medium batches are our normal work. For very large volumes we will tell you honestly whether a dedicated production route makes more sense.
On the floor
No stock photography, no renders and no borrowed machine images. If a machine is not on our floor, it is not on this page.

Tell us the part, the material and the quantity. An engineer reviews your drawing and replies within one working day — usually with a suggestion on how to make it cheaper.
